Course Overview

The Utah State Board of Education is dedicated to empowering school communities with the tools and training necessary for effective suicide prevention. This course is designed for educators and school staff seeking to fulfill the youth suicide prevention training requirement outlined in Utah Code 53G-9-704. Participants will learn how to advocate for students who may be at risk, gaining practical knowledge and skills to support individuals and connect them with professional help. Completion of this course enables educators to download a certificate, verifying their fulfillment of state training standards.
